Snowmobile enthusiasts can enjoy a trail 1 km from the chalet (317 and 33). The trails goes to the Montagne Noire and St-Donat.
In winter, Wall Road becomes a multi-sport trail, designed for cross-country skiing from the Interval cooperative to Parc des Pionniers in the center of St-Donat. It is possible to reach the chalet via 3 km of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobile riding, or tracked ATV from Interval or via Highway 329 in winter. Except in winter, it is possible to reach the chalet by car.
The land was landscaped with ditches to advantageously bypass the mountain runoff water and thus protect the chalet's stilt foundation and the path leading to it.
This large area has been maintained to provide the opportunity to observe the wide variety of wildlife that lives there. The small lake is a habitat that allows for their observation, as are the forests on this land.
